well, who need that crappy built-in SW, if we have GEOS now? 
(some people still use their memory expanded C64 + laser printer to create all their daily letters, faxes. believe me, with two floppys and extra memory it is very fast system).
In fact I prefer C16 keyboard compared to Plus/4, as is is more "masculine" 
(but maybe just because I grew up using that one.)
