 Tom Thumb Remake

After visiting BB Software's website, I noticed a mention about a remake of Tom Thumb. I had originally begun work on a PC version of Tom 16 with new graphics last year. I left a message here back then asking for help with the design of graphics but nobody seemed interested. Since nobody seemed too keen, I put that project on hold. Anyway, while searching through my hard-drive recently, I found what I had done and I am really keen on completing this remake since my version won't just be an exact copy of the original but will have new graphics, sound and levels.

If anyone is interested to be a part of this remake, please contact me at stujwilson@aol.com so that I can tell you exactly what I need help with.

 Tom Thumb Remake (again)

So far, I havent touched the game for nearly a year. I do have a small demo available. So far I have designed a small playing area which plays quite well. I really want to get this finished though - I just need a little more help!!

If you go to the following address, you can view some screenshots of my Tom Thumb Remake.

I tried and ended up with toffie looking walls ;-)

I tried for a couple of days to make an all new looking tom GFX guy, but just like Micky Mouse it could'nt be done and then that was only 1 frame Maybe some sort of Aladin looking guy would be better?
I will offer any help with sound (sample the Plus4). Tell me what you need in terms of sample quality. The hardest thing will be recreating the stairs tune trick, The Curse of Ghost Town I called it. It does'nt do it on every ladder, but each step you take it plays the next note and at some points like the image with Tom's head inbeteeewn the floor it will play the whole tune if stood still. There is also the odd bug when you can land at the end of a slide and stand still. Again if I remember right the Ghost Town tune played for 1 note..... Back on the Tom Thumb page is my .MOD of the main game tune if that can help. And aslo Csabo's Tom Thumb remix MP3! I can upload this if you have yet to hear it.
