This is really strange. I do not know what change could have introduced this problem. Do the old 1.2.5.2 exe files run now, if you reinstall those (without changing anything else) ? Did you try the command line interface (for example, just running 'p4fliconv.exe --help' to see if that works, or some simple conversion like 'p4fliconv.exe foo.jpg foo.prg') ?
It would also be interesting to see where the crash happens in the code; although the files do not have debug information, if you could post just a stack trace of code addresses (included with the error message or error log generated by Windows), that would be useful.
By the way, what version of Windows are you using ? Does anyone else also have this problem (all the .exe files run fine on my machine) ?
