TLC: here is another version of the interlace code that displays two 208x512 images:

This uses NTSC mode to increase the horizontal resolution as well, but the number of colors is limited, so it is probably not very useful after all compared to a normal high resolution FLI display. The following simple programs convert 666x512 raw RGB images and build a .prg file:
