Yes, I do have an SAA713x based card. Here is a simple program I used for testing:

It can be run with either G 1003 or G 1006. In the first case, it will set an interrupt routine that extends or shrinks the display by changing the number of lines in the bottom border (the amount can be set in $E0 as a 2's complement signed value). The second one skips the vertical syncronization, and is used for testing free running mode; the number of lines is controlled by $E1.
