Indeed, the new version of GUI is good IMO  reliable and faster.
I'm sure Gaia is referring to first version.
BTW a new version of Cbm4win is under testing and I can assure you all that it is even faster. Main feature of it is the support of many CBM devices linked (making possible to leave the X-cable connected while you are using Plus4).
