1) IMO you should try to put the TED from the Plus4 into C16 (and not the contrary).
This save you from possible burn of the working TED by a possible fault Plus4 card.
2) Check the cable and contacts for the color problems of the C16 screen. Are you using a SCART cable or a moduled TV cable?
