Subject: tape originals?

Hi,
As I'm quite busy on the C64 (blasphemy! ;-)) I haven't contributed to the plus4 mailinglist yet. But this discussion on tape's got me wondering: isn't it just possible to crack the games? I mean, this gives you a smooth, clean crack of the game, with the possibility to replace buggy code, loader routines, and maybe build in a trainer.
I haven't got any originals for the plus4/C16 myself, as I just recently bought these machines, but when I have a bit more time (for sure in about
1,5 months when I'm done with school) I'll surely catch up. I did quite a lot of tape cracks on the C64, and from what I read it seems like the same deal... If it is, I'd love to crack those originals so we don't have to play around with huge WAV's... ;-)
Well, if there nothing more special to it than tape cracking C64 stylee,
then I'll surely give it a shot. Maybe I can borrow some of your originals,
