Cool. I will also get a plus4 soon, I give an old VT100 terminal in change :)
I use my c64 power supply to my plus4, it originally (or someone has adjusted :) came with CIRCLE shaped connector, not the know SQUARE!!!
I think, but I am not sure, you can simple replace the connector from a broken 64 and there you are. Please check the connectors first with a volt meter, or simple compare a plus4 and c64 power connector on computer schematics.
