 History | The team was founded in late July (possibly early August) of 1990 by Tarzan, Johnny and Coby. According to Terror News 03, CSM sent the guys about 10 names, out of which they liked "Nuclear Crew" and "Terrorists Crew" the best. When Coby visited Johnny, he said he also liked the Terrorists name and he joined as well. They mention that CSM was going to join (he himself wrote this in 20 Blocks (CSM)), but nothing came out of that: CSM joined Vortex instead.
1990-08: Rachy joins as the 4th member. First mention of him being a member is Killer Party, which was released 1990-08-09. According to TN3, he joined because of an ad in Byte Times 2.
1990-??: Their first megademo, Tit Mega is released. The memberstatus at this point is: Bada, Coby, Jaky, Johnny, Rachy, Tamy, Tarzan, TCL, TDD (9 members).
1990-11-21: According to the member list in Dynarec demo, they still have 9 members.
1990-??: Satans Time mentions that Tarzan just found out about two new members: SCH and Tibet (11 members). Both were recruited by Rachy, see Forthkillers for more details.
1991-01: In Terror News 07, they announce that the group has now 13 members; the 2 new ones are Doc and TMT.
1991-02: The second megademo Coby TCL Mega is released.
1991-02: Coby and Tamy join the army. (At that time the 18 month army service in Hungary was mandatory.)
1991-03: In Terror News 09, Steve is mentioned as a new member, recruited by Bada. In Buwana (released the same month), Steve is also greeted as a new member (14 members).
1991-07: The current memberstatus is: Bada, Coby, Doc, Johnny, Rachy, SCH, Steve, Tarzan, TCL, TDD, Tibet, TMT (12 members). The ones missing are Tamy and Jaky.
1991-11/12: There are some disagreements between Steve/Tarzan. The group disbands, Steve joins Scorpions and releases SCN News 01, which was meant to be Terror News 24.
1991-12-24: Johnny and Tarzan write their farewells in Terror News 24.
1992-01-16: The last issue of Terror News (25) by Tarzan is released, it's his final good-bye. (The magazine was continued by Unreal.) |
