Well Chris, if you do make it to CGEUK you now have the ultimate party piece to show off what this baby can do.
I once showed aload of C64 nuts Csabo's Drum Mix 3 and it wiped the smug smiles off their faces! 
Yeah these pictures are awesome, the definitive loading screen!

Thanks! Well, I have just converted them...
I would have liked a way to get back to the menu as well, but I didn't understand much of the displaying routine... And I guess reset and then shift+runstop isn't that much of a trouble anyway...

On the real hardware it does not flicker that much. On the emulator: the recommended mode for Larry's converter is actually PAL emulation turned on. You can configure Yape to synchronize to the vsync and it won't flicker at all (even less than on a real TV). Just make sure no other CPU hogging app is running in the background. If you have a monitor capable of 100 Hz it'll more or less work out of the box, too.
