| UfoTofU And Deck Wreck!
Today, we get two more games that have been submitted to the Game Programming competition.
First up is UfoTofU by Kwayne. It's a Commodore Plus/4 implementation of a 2016 PICO-8 game by Albey Amakiir. The object of this game is to snake around on a 7x7 board filled with colorful symbols, trying to build up a palindrome pattern as long as possible. Every turn, the length of each palindrome found is added to the final score. The player has to be careful not to accidentally find a short pattern.
The second is Deck Wreck: Demokracy, a card game by Rachy. It's a unique resource-management-card-game, an implementation of the Android version. Ever dreamt of becoming President? Some say anybody can be President. But can you become one? Climb the political ladder to the top while balancing between opponents, dark forces from the shadows, fluctuating voters and other surprises. Be nice or be awful: it is your choice. Don’t ever forget that you have one final goal and there might be hard calls to achieve it. The game is available in both English and Hungarian.
Both games are strong, fun contenders so be sure to check them out!

Did anyone try these at all (besides Luca )?
IMHO Deck Wreck is pretty cool. Kinda disheartening that there's zero feedback. Come on folks, say something... Even "I didn't have time" or "I auto-skipped this game because of the genre" is acceptable.

I appreciate every new bit of release.
I have been on the demoscene side of my life for decades now, I don't really play any more.
Except for Star Control III when it finally comes out, the canonic one, I mean.
So I'm starving.

Deck Wreck: Demokracy is very well implemented, and of course it's a very original approach to the genre of cards based board games. I wanted to cast a vote, yet I have several doubts about my decision: - pros: wonderfully presented, very original application of a board game with cards, great game design, truly interesting; - cons: redundant, considerably high degree of populism inside (IMHO). Hence, still valuating it...
UfoTofU is a funny logic game, not the perfect one in the arena, but surely quite funny. i appreciate the challenge's vibes with two different courses where to fight for the best score, it makes sense. Still, thinkng about my final vote to cast.

@Luca
redundant, considerably high degree of populism inside (IMHO) Care to elaborate? You do realise that this game is a satire, right?

@Rachy I would say: it's "that kind" of satire, that's a deeper level in elaboration I guess. As a definition, "satire" rises by a point of view and a bit of memory about facts, not simply "making fun of". And I had my valuation of "that point of view".
A precious game and fantastic porting all the ways, congrats! ;) Going to play more of it, in order to understand how vary the deck can become, hence how different a match can be driven.
