Gaia just released the latest update for the popular Commodore Plus/4 emulator YAPE. Version 1.2.1 brings you a cool new feature (the screen can be rotated in OpenGL mode) as well as several bug fixes and stability improvements.

Big thanks to Gaia for the new version 
The screen rotation feature is really cool - even though we only have two games that can make use of it (Zsoldos Repülő and Phoenix Recovered). And just in time for this week's Let's Play! What a coincidence. I hope someone hasn't bugged the heck out of poor Gaia to make this happen 
The improvements to the sound output reminded me that I made a small video about Nu, Pogodi!, check it out if you'd like to hear a comparison of the various "modes" (plus a little bonus content).

Very cool to add screen rotation, perfect for games like 1942, Ikari Warriors or Arkanoid Revenge of Doh.

Can't seem to get it to work. I pressed Alt+O, nothing. OpenGL?
Anyway I'd love to see this new screen rotation feature somehow implemented on yapeSDL as Phoenix Recovered would look outstanding on my retropie arcade cabinet.

Cool features, but the sound bug is still present. It got incorporated to yape a couple of versions ago. It makes noises in certain cases
