Udo Gertz programmed the software in his private apartment in assembly language and Basic. A neighbor recalls: "At that time I grew up in the same street as him. Two doors down. Was often with him, because he was the total byte-checker. At times, even when computers really were science fiction and he has shown us how he developed his (...) games. He was about five years older than the other in the street and every time he has programmed one of us again 'ne great Basic subroutine into our "projects", then he was back for weeks, the king, because he the other cool again what had preceded. (Laughs)."
