Exits for this game only the official youtube video or a longplay video?

This is a great game for the C16! Very nice graphics! I'm astonished that there's enough time per frame to do the scrolling and the soft sprite movements. It uses some tricky ideas to save cpu time! Very well done!

@MisFit: If you are able to convert Vic20 games, give "Demon Attack" from Imagic a try. This game is missing..
Congrats to your wonderful game!

Yes, "Princess is in another castle" is stolen from Super Mario Bros. The first title of the game was "another castle" but it's so common that I invented stupid "Dork Dave" name.
I can not convert old games to C16/Plus4 because I have too much "imagination" (I cannot settle down). I have to create "new" stuff all the time.

Cool game, although I'm lame as hell. Managed to pass only two levels. Misfit, why don't you convert your VIC-20 game to our platform? Is that "Princess is in another castle" from some Mario game?

| Re: Dork Dave Is Here!
I was very surprised, when I saw this new platform game.
At last a new platform game, my favourite style.
I say to myself: It must occupy at least two disk sides.
Than I see it is only 16k.
I say to myself: It must be a mistake. The graphics is so nice in the pictures, I can't believe it.
I was about to write to Csabo to correct the memory demand to 64k, but then when I downloaded and run the game, I see that it is really 16k.
When I tried the game, it was a pleasant surprise, because the sprite reacts well to the control and the difficulty level is not so easy.
You must try over and over to get ahead in the game.
The story is interesting and funny, the music fits the spirit of the game.
The graphics are spectacular and the creator probably had to use a shoehorn to squeeze the game into the memory of the C16. [The text above is a quote from the Hungarian 100+Plus/4 book if I right remember from the Dark Tower game description]
It is like water in a wasteland simply for because only very few game releases happen nowadays.
Probably I will never free the stupid princess, because I have little time and the game looks too difficult to complete without a cheat in a few hours, but I promise I will make a couple of attempt before I give up or type in the cheat.
Misfit! It is all right that the princess is stupid, but at least is she beautiful?
Whatever I congratulate you on your game.

Thanks Acrid, It's a nice review. And yes, I am the master of the annoying jingles (It's a part of my weird humour, but main reason might be a limited memory space)
Btw Cronosoft will release my old game for VIC-20. buy buy.. (https://www.facebook.com/cronosoftgames)

Fat tailed distribution, innit? Awesome game by the way! Colours remind me of Dorks Dilemma a bit so authentic. Movement is spot on as well. Cherry on the cake that it fits into 16kb and would not tell.

This game looks pretty attractive - I want find time to play it. It is so stupid to have only 24 hours in a day... BTW are there some kind of statistical information about numbers released of C+4 applications, games, utilities, etc by years? IMHO it will be not difficult to make a proper SQL query, slightly format it, and show the result...

Great game and graphics. Awesome! So, you can make a Super Mario Bros. (or Giana Sisters) Remake with this game engine?

I've only played it emulated on my jxd but I'm quite impressed. It looks good and the difficulty seems to be set about right. Top stuff 👍

| Dork Dave Is Here!
Hailing from Finland, Misfit is here with his second game called: Dork Dave and The Dirty Trick. It is a C-16 compatible side-scrolling platformer, where you must jump accurately, avoid the enemies, sometimes break bricks by jumping into them, and hurry across swiftly crumbling platforms.
So grab a joystick and guide the titular hero through many levels, and attempt to find the (apparently stupid) Princess. Or is this all just a dirty trick? Play the game to find out!
