Heh, I have the Blu-rays of TOS. Now I'm just waiting until CBS figures out how to upgrade it to 4K UltraHD. happy

Sherry Jackson of "What Little Girls Are Made Of?" and Marianna Hill of "Dagger of the Mind"? happy

The DVD versions are a gift to my 10 year old nephew (his parents don't have a Blu-ray player).

I forgot that you could get TOS on Super 8 film (just a truncated episode or two) and on 16mm film (if you could afford it back in the day).

Ooo, TOS on top of a C16,

RobertB,

StarTrek (The Original Series) has been remastered with 21st Century wizardry and the girls have never looked so good! happy
A bit like the original StarWars special editions but done tastefully with only the external space scenes being redone to bring them more up to date. It's not available on Betamax, VHS, Laserdisc, or VideoCD/FMV...

And if your worried about "The Cage" episode, they slapped that on the Bonus DVD on the newly remastered box set.

Time to upgrade, or catch it for free on TV if your lucky. Currently being aired on CBS Action in the UK I believe... I have the DVD Boxset so I get to watch it in my own sweet time.

All 79 episodes of StarTrek TOS Remastered on DVD vs the 1st 3 original episodes on crappy VHS...

First Mork, now Mr. Spock. The last 6 months hasn't been kind to celebrity aliens

I too grew up on TOS. Mr. Spock is probably the biggest trekkie character in the whole franchise, for dere I say it maybe even slightly more-so than Kirk himself.

R.I.P Leonard Nimoy.

Star Trek:TOS also came in Beta, VHS, Laserdisc, and VideoCD/FMV (for the original ST cast movies).

If anyone didn't know, Leonard Nimoy (famous for his role as Spock in Star Trek) died today, here's one article: http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-31662024. Sad news indeed.
