 Re: Jason Kelk's gone

Thanks for sharing! Straight away I had a feeling this guy way younger as some of what he started saying had me thinking this was 1993 when he first met Jason. Lol @ Turbocharge music, claimed to sound like 5 channels were playing but never did. grin

Was a good read and some of it may remind you of your own journeys linked to computing and gaming, I did some of the same things which adds a sort of sense you were also there with the guys. Nice to see a Plus/4 in one of the photos. happy

Jasons demos where a class of it's own. I loved every new demo that came up.. 14 months of extensive pain emotionally and physically for him and his family would be too much for almost anyone. I will miss the Cosine demos and the games. Hope he has some better days now without all this painful physicallity. Can't find words, so rest in peace Jason!

 Re: Jason Kelk's gone

This is just terrible... I am lost for words sad Just when we thought he would perhaps slowly start getting better again... sad He was a remarkable guy, I almost forgot about those long nights in his #plus4 chatroom on Efnet... when was it again? 2002-2006 maybe? Who else was there? I might even have some of the logs somewhere.

R.I.P.

Ikaruga is one of my favorite onefile demos and gave me inspiration to further develop my skills and actually go on with retrocoding.

 Jason Kelk's gone

TMR's agony has finally reached an end: Jason's passed away, after 14 months of continue fight against the SARS-Covid-19 effects which have taken down his kidneys, and subsequently all the rest.
It's been very sad, very painful and a true shit overall, can' t find sweet words for this true tragedy.

Rest in peace, bud.
