Thank you Luca for the link, via this we can also reach Balrog's original blog. The more I read the more I see how kind and supportive person he was.
This forum thread will keep these important links and his memory for some more time.

Your quest is over and can now take a well earned rest. R.I.P Mr. Balrog.
This really does make you ponder on your own mortality now we’re mostly all deep into our middle age years.

Sad news. I did a little Google search and turns out his life was an adventure as well, used to be a fighter pilot before putting finger to keyboard. Bit of a cult following for his works!
R.I.P Mr Balrog

I assumed none of us knew him personally, and the Plus/4 releases were just a by-product of the engine he was using - but apparently you were in contact with him. He must have had a lot of fun creating those games though!
Very sad news My condolences as well.

| The Balrog has passed away
John "The Balrog" Wilson, has sadly passed away 31st May 2021, while sleeping, surrounded by his beloved ones. He really loved his creations, and when we entered the era of the easy multiplatform conversions of the ancient adventures'engines, he spent most of his last time in order to spread his works on a dozen systems, and I've been his Plus/4 betatester in some cases.
Our condolences to Anne and his whole family, you'll be missed. In your biggest adventure ever.
