Yep. You bought it off me happy
I'm not a C16 collector as such, but I wanted to ensure that I dumped the game to emulators before sending the tape to a new home happy

 Re: C16 Poker

Thank you so much, Neo-Rio! Glad you managed to do it.

I created a cracked PRG, since the program had a little BASIC protection. It's all up on the site now.

 Re: C16 Poker

I finally managed to make a working dump with Audacity and WAV2PRG.

You can get the game here to add to Plus/4 world!

 Re: C16 Poker

Lacus is correct. the Princess is probably the most important piece of hardware you can buy for the C16 right now. It's basically our version of the 1541 Ultimate, ok it's not quite as good as that as it doesn't have all the swiss army knife features, it's basically an SD2iec but with full TAP support with dump and rip. You can install an easy menu system to the root folder which makes these features easy to use as well as load your tap, prg and d64 files from. it's a little less pricey although will still set you back a fair bit, but imo it's much sturdily better built that the Ultimate, so worth the cash and definitely a must have.

I used it to successfully dump Terra Nova C16 version which we all know is a multiload, as numerous attempts before had failed with the game being bugged and crashing. So I'd say it's the best dumping tool to use right now.

You should also be able to record (or "digitize") the sound/noise from the tape as is into a WAV file, and have YAPE load that. Gaia says this should work, as long as the quality is good enough.

 Re: C16 Poker

One of the most convenient method to use Manosoft C64SD V3.0 Princess (FLC) (http://www.manosoft.it/?page_id=271). With this device you can make TAP file from cassette and vice versa. It works with many Commodore machines, like C64, C16, plus/4, VIC20, etc. I use it more than one year ago and it works well. In addition, the support is also excellent.

 C16 Poker

Hi everyone.

I got this C16/+4 game called "C16 Poker" which was released by Streetgames in Australia.
How do I dump this tape for preservation?

I tried making a TAP file with my C64 and Ulitmate1541-II, but it didn't work.
