This was written sometime in the spring of '92, and was partly inspired by getting my machine back from the service department (where it had been sent due to the spontaneous death of the RAM and CPU:-)). So, I had my machine back, had a couple of things from various sources, and I had written a multi bitmap converter routine earlier. I sat down and did some calculations and experiments regarding how to "map" the digi-channel speed back to the wave converter playback speed, and... that was about it. Once I had it working, I was happy :-)
