| Description | You are driving a truck and you command a team of bomb squads, whose job is to defuse all the bombs present in a series of minefields.
At first your truck appears in the center of the field, where mines are represented with 'X' and bombs with circles; the movement of the truck is controlled by the Joystick n. 1. After a short time the bombs, one at a time, appear on the video in negative: this means that they are triggered. Then they start flashing, which indicates the imminence of the explosion. To neutralize you have to go over it, thus getting 10 points for the normal bombs, 20 for the negative ones and 30 for the flashing ones. Whenever a bomb explodes, it destroys everything in its immediate surroundings (possibly even you), and also detonates the bombs that are close to it, so a chain reaction can also be triggered.
As you move around the camp, you must avoid not only the mines, but also the craters left by the exploded bombs (asterisks). When a field runs out of bombs, either because they have exploded or because you have defused them, the screen is completed and you move on to the next, with more bombs. At the end of each screen you are penalized by 10 points for each bomb exploded. You can choose from four difficulty levels, which determine the number of lives at your disposal. |
