"I only worked on C64, I didn't have any +4 programs.
Bosszúvágy was written during just one weekend. Back then we played a lot of AD&D and I wanted to write a role-playing game which isn't bogged down with a thousand rules. At the same time, be mindful not to walk down the same old road. That's how this game came to be. Somehow I managed to get the rules right, and even I played with this one quite a bit.
FooLman was my classmate in high school, and later we worked together for a while. We talked a lot, shared plans and ideas etc. He liked Bosszúvágy as well, which is why he decided to port it.
Later I created "Bosszúvágy 2", which was more developed, with similar gameplay, better graphics and music. It was a space-themed role-playing game. You could swap ships, which had many different properties, such as weapon slots and cargo space (which of course was important for trading). The basics were similar, you could be a pirate, you could trade, or you could make money by keeping order. So while this was more complex, and a fun game, it couldn't provide more enjoyment than the first part.
I had some other games: "The Dragon" (a platformer), "Nuts" (a 2-d Rubik's Cube-like game). I also worked on some demos and diskmags. I had some even better games, and I'm really saddened that these old programs are lost." |
