| Description | This game was originally written for the C16, although the references to the Plus/4 model, both in the REM lines of the BASIC listing, and in the game's story itself, suggest that the author has probably developed the game on a Plus/4. The REM lines report:
***A GREAT PROGRAM THIS ONE*** *FOR PLUS/4 BY DON LAWSON*** *REWRITTEN FOR THE C64 BY DOROTHY MILLARD
In 2013, it was ported to the VIC-20 by Raven (AKA ravenxau). He didn't bother to adjust the spacing for the VIC-20's narrower screen, so it's recommended that you run the FAT 40 extender beforehand so that the text wraps properly.
In the ending screen of the text, the author Don Lawson cites other games written by him, inviting the player to test'em too. One of those is expressly a Plus/4 one: Elf Rescue Plus/4.
