> Level 16 is $B8, $B9 $BA ... $BF I used to use this method in my Wave converters, but there is also an other technique: turn on NTSC mode to get higher timer freqency. This gives much more speed (due to the updating differences between PAL and NTSC). This will of course mess the screen (except you use an NTSC display :). I used this method in Music for All Time demo. (Ok, let's say: the quality wasn't enough for me later, but it was about the wrong timing-table used by the converter...)

Plusi is not enough fast for the floating methods anyway, I tried almost similar, even with zero-page-code (for faster running), but the highest freqency I could ever reach was $84 (in TED cycles), and it was not enough (this means: floating freq is the half - $42).
