Hi,

Centauri Alliance ??? Cool... Now tell me: did someone already converted the Ultima series ??? I would be rather dissappointed if yes.
This also applies to the RPGs from SSI (Champions of Krynn, Buck Rogers,
etc...)
> - I can't copy a single file from 1541 to PC with TR64.
Use Star Commander I would say.
http://ludens.elte.hu/~sta/sc.html There is a beta of v0.82 out there...
> - I can't use the D64 files with Minus 4.
???? Grab the latest version (V1.6) if you are using an older one. Still, fast loaders and such are not emulated yet, so don't await that fulldisk games will run...
> - I can't change directory in the file menu of Minus 4.
Yes, because its not implemented. :)

T64 is not supported by Minus4, and you can use Star Commander to extract from T64 into PRG. (Just go into the T64 file on one panel,
while on the other panel is a Dos directory, select the file,
and copy (F5) it).
> - Can the Minus 4 emulate the 1551 drive Currently it fakes a 1551, so the Plus4 kernel thinks that a 1551
is attached to it and not a 1541. It watches the communication channel of the 1551 and if it encounters a command which he knows then it emulates it. So there is no 1551 CPU and hardware emulation.
Actually I haven't seen any docs on 1551, and until there is no docs on the inside hardware of the 1551, it will be rather hard to emulate it... We all know, that you know the 1551 inside-out,
so you could really contribute a lot, by supplying us with info about the 1551!!! (Hardware ports, memory layout, etc... All info is important!!!)
>How can I copy a single program from 1541 to PC? I have a lot of

Star Commander can do that again. One panel is the 1541, the other is a dos dir, you select a file press F5 (copy) and there you go!!!
>Need somebody my memory expansion's circuit diagram or the registerplan?
Of course, I wanna info on the registers...

Ok, I will surf the archives, and will check if every place has this bad copy.
BTW, this is a very common thing, that bad copies circulate on the net.
It would be nice if we could avoid this with the plus4 files. So someone please download the +4 Mania Forever from c64.rulez.org and confirm if it's running on the real hardware or not! Thx.
