Unless you save your program with SAVE"PROGRAM,S",8 and load it with LOAD"PROGRAM,S",8. You could use ,U as well for the USR file type. I'm not sure whether ,D for the DEL file type works. Maybe there is even a way to save and load programs in REL files; I've never tried.
