Subject: LPT port setting

can anybody tell me how and where I can do the setting of my 2nd LPT port on my PC?
I added an old I/O ISA card to be able to use X1541 cable, but after lot of months of fine work, now it halts all the connections.
I will try to set (once again) the 'port type'
as *SPP*, but with this :(( Win98, I don't know how.
BIOS allows only to set the first LPT.
