If you check 'Sargon II' by Dan & Kate Spracklen, you'll see it was released in 1979 :-O. Not even the C64 existed that time. Similarly,
Jack Attack is copyrighted '82 - all in all, this is because these progs were first introduced on other machines. Later the softare houses released them to the Plus/4 market, still, somehow they decided to keep the original copyright stamps.
AFAIK the C-16 and the Plus/4 was released in late '84. (Similarly to the C64, it was introduced in the middle of the year, because of marketing reasons. Larger quantities were produced and shipped AFAIK for the Christmas holidays).
