Im not sure... I think its a terminating sequance byte, I only check for the incomming data byte - (as the source says somewhere) - I think for emulation, it shouldn't be necessary to check every byte seq.
i.e. DATA COMMING, DATA, END DATA etc...
you should only really need to check for data comming, since your not going to get any load errors..
