I try to find a still stable timing.

But is it worth? GCR is longer than the decoded bytes. Ok, I know:
1541 is far slower in decoding, but takes more time at communicating.

It can, but I haven't seen one yet... Anyways: I don't know anybody,
who even own one...
It is no matter that the other devices getting mad, when I use ATN to sync, it is the fastest way, and only for transfer files, no more, no less.

It is beeing solved already. There are lot of file-systems, used extended disk capacity, but nobody uses, becuase of those unstable behaviour.
And, who uses floppies to excange files...
