| The 1351 is considered to be the very first mouse device for the masses. It's capable of working both as a joystick (directional mouse) and as a real mouse (proportional mouse).
The Commodore 1351 does not work on C16 and Plus/4, because the analog control on a C64 is located into the SID chip, which is obviously missing into any 264 series' machine. Nonetheless, it can be used as a proportional mouse when connected to any kind of SIDcard. In fact, it has been supported since the release of the older version of Synergy's SIDcard, and fully supported for compatibility till the modern cards. |
