| A 7501/8501 CPU replacement board. The board contains
- a 6502 CPU which is 100% compatible with 7501/8501 instruction set, including undocumented ("illegal") opcodes.
- 512k SRAM
- a Xilinx FPGA that implements
- the CPU port of the 7501/8501 CPU port at $00/$01 addresses and
- $fd16 control register for a Hannes compatible memory expansion
Note: in order to use the RAM expansion the onboard RAM must be desoldered first and the CAS signal must be connected to the marked pin on the 6502 plus 4 board.
