| Download .TAP files to Tape
Does anyone know how you can convert the .TAP and .PRG files to .WAV so that I can copy them onto tape to load on the Plus 4? Thanks.

Theoretically.... an emulator could "save" a TAP or PRG out to a WAV file, which could then be played out a normal sound card to a tap recorder.. Ask ATI nicely
PRG's can be send to a diskdrive via an X1541 data cable... ebay has lots of these usually...

Hi
When you want play .prg on a real 264er you must have a 1541 Floppy Diskdrive and a xe or xm 1541 to conect them with a DOS PC, with Starcommander you can copy the .prg on 5 1/4" Disk for the Commodore. You can now load the .prg on your Plus/4

There have been many discussions in the past on how to do this, use the search function of the forum.
Doozer: Yape is able to create a WAV file directly. Simple follow the instructions on the top of this page with the notable exception that when the Create TAP dialog window pops up you should select 'WAV' as filetype and not 'TAP'. The resulting WAV you can then record to a real tape via your sound cards line out.

Gaia - how reliable do you find the WAV files created via YAPE for playback?
