Is this worth following up?

Sounds interesting! Who knows they might be good. We won't know until we see them. You should drop him a line wink

Let imagine I start to code stuff like:
10 print"uncle david";:goto10
then another program:
20 print "I am green";:goto 20
and so on...
And I should be here in order to insert data like: I_Am_Green.prg, aka Green.org etc etc etc...

Not sure what you mean but I'm guessing.. happy

Along time ago in a bedroom far far away I recreated Tom Thumb's tune via Basic. Yes its a file. Its PD and in my view very sad because I could not do it via machine code.

Should we cover everything? Are we a Plus4net as in Aminet is to the amiga?

 Re: Unreleased games from 1985 - 1989

Why not cover everything? If we don't, where do we draw the line? There are lots of COMMERCIAL basic games, some of them are not that great. If we list those and collect covers for them, why not the amateur stuff, which are in some cases better?

Basic games and Freeware games are clearly marked as such... What's the worst thing that could happen? Maybe some people will be inspired to actually sit down and code on this machine again!

About Lando's basic Tom Thumb Tune: it's up to you to actually release it or not. I myself have written smaller things (some of them may even be in machine code) that never got released. But I say, as long as someone releases something, let's host it.

Until someone does something like what Luca said: one line "programs" happy

But then again: what if in the future we might have a small compo held at a party, and the task is to code something cool from just one basic line? Or should we cut off some of these programs because of size? Then what about Gaia's 17 bytes? Ah, too many questions.

Time for some "HUMILIATION" happy

Not to be added to the database for sad reasons. wink

2 very small demo music files all hand crafted in basic one afternoon some time ago, both only 2 bars each and not really worth downloading.

Lando's Loop.prg, some sort of space game jingle and will make you go crazy after you've heard it more than once. wink

Final Synth Sample.prg, Final Synth Sample is a Rob Hubbard classic which would sound cool via 2 channel ted if done by a PRO! Its only a couple of bars and then loops for ever. The wonders of basic lmao!

Both these files are almost the same size as Csabos 4K game!! Shocking wink

Ok... I'll now show my self out of the door.

Ahahahah! wink
Ok, I'll do the same: I have to upload more than 100 programs, so I'll try to hide one of my shames too.

Ulysses777, very good! happy

You could of used SHIFT CLEAR HOME on the PRINT line to clear the screen saving you using the word SCNCLR, but wouldn't really give you much more to play with. wink

But you only need S[shift]C for SCNCLR happy
