| Emulation of +4 userport on IBM PC through the use of +4 emulators
does anyone know if any of the emulators can emulate the +4 userport, maybe using the parallel port on an IBM pc. This would be very, very, very cool.

As far as I know, no emulator is capable of doing this than the Linux version of VICE (at least the C64 part). The direct access to the parallel port requires a kernel level driver and so far no such driver has been made for Windows. DOS is another matter, but unfortunately there isn't such emulator for DOS.

I have been using such a driver for a long time on windows 2000, 2003 and XP. here is the link to the DLL.
