 Such memories!

I had my first Plus/4 for Christmas in 1985 when I was 8, and worked my way through several machines and joysticks before my parents sold the whole lot at a car boot sale in Wolverhampton (UK) in 1991.

I came across the Plus/4 site today and downloaded an emulator and some games. I can't believe how many of the moves in Icicle Works, Fire Ant, Exorcist and Treasure Island I still remember. Basic 3.5 was the last time I made any serious attempt at programming.

I was too young to make much contact with Plus/4 users the first time round (before everyone else started taliking about Amigas), so I'm genuinely surprised and pleased at the number of people with similar memories of the computer.

Thanks for all the good work

 Heh

That was the first game I got as well! So fun, so simple, so atmospheric

 Classic games for sure :-)

It took me days to work out how to get to another level on Icicle Works

I did know you had to press fire to finish the level, well all the other games I had played before plus4 came out you just entered the next level without pressing fire

I ended up playing Fire Ant and Treasure Island all day that Xmas.

The first game I ever bought was Mission Mars !!
