The best Commodore Plus/4 emulator was updated with some nice things:
* cycle based TED and SID sound
* WaveMapper sound option
* cycle based keyboard & joystick emulation (via DirectInput)
* improved a few SID waveforms (noise, triangle)
* tweaked clocking of the 1541, even more disk turbos work
* enhanced the autostart feature
* bitmap fetch reload fixed
* a couple of bugfixes

Thanks for the post  Unfortunately I forgot to update the PC joystick emulation to the new DirectInput interface, so it will not work with 0.55... :-/ I guess a fixup release is due shortly. |

I also miss the PC Joystick Emulation once again like in an older release (I remember it also was forgotten before)
I hope it will be fixed soon.
By the way: I don't hear any difference with the new "Sound update" or does it only affect on s few games or Demos? |

The new sound engine really is not material in most of the cases for the TED sound (except maybe a few very tricky demo music players) but rather for the SID sound.
The fixed up release will be out on the weekend with proper joystick support. |
