The jist of the above discussion: Orions announces their first demo, which he cannot give to us, because it was written on an original Plus/4 and he does not have a cable. Lavina offered his snail mail address, but hasn't received anything in so far.

I think ya'll are jumping to conclusions too fast. The whole business is a bit suspicious, but let's just wait it out. Maybe the fellow is genuine. And to be honest, for a hoax this is really, really lame. I could think of a hundred things that would fool the Plus/4 scene. All he achieved is that we talked about it for a while.
Thing is though, even doing fake stuff takes an effort. I am just so sad that there aren't many new demos/games released nowadays.

from all the facts I can conclude with my 1 year of study of psychology that the guy is much younger than us, once liked some commodore machine, has not got many friends, and yes, this is a small innocent hoax.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
I managed to use the TED to display genuine C64 style sprites. In fact the sprite control circuits from the VIC have always been existent in the TED, they were just disabled. But by rapid toggling of the test bit in NTSC mode it is possible to reactivate the circuit and actually display 8 sprites.
Disabling the sprite circuit was probably just a marketing ploy, very similar to the SMT feature in the Pentium4 today.
