|  two questions
1) okay, it seems none of the files i've transferred
from pc to c16 via x?1541 and star commander
work. some tricks need to be done or what?
files i've tried so far were downloaded from
this very site and funet.fi demos -section.
btw. i found out that my c16 has 48k of extra
memory or as the sticker in the bottom of
the beautiful black box puts it: 64K VERSION.
so, basically i thought i had a plus4 in a much nicer
and cooler case (since i prefer the breadbox
design over the plus4 case even though my
first c64 was the c model and i like the amiga
look more than the c64 breadbox. still following?  ).
2)so is this ture or are there
more differences between these machines?

and it happens sometime even on the Plus4.
BTW remember you don't own a Plus4, but a C16 expansed to 64Kb. It's not the same thing

60671. that's what the basic says.
although after playing certain games followed
by a hit on the reset button the screen
reads 12277. press reset again, it remains
the same. but switching power off and on
again brings the "vanished" 48k back.

| Make sure...
... that not only the sticker but the BASIC startup screen says, you have 64k of RAM... If it says 12277 bytes free, than it is only 16kb, but if it's 60671 then you relly have an expanded memory
