| BAL Emulator and Windows +4
I promised SVS that this would be posted at the beginning of Tuesday - I hope that I am not too late.
SVS's latest creation, Business Accounting Language emulator, is now in wide beta testing. Anyone who knows what a BAL machine is, please check SVS's page at cbm264.com for a .d64 image, documentation, and a whats-new page. SVS hopes to expand on this language to include user port support for such items as a light-timer controller (here in the States they're X10 controllers, that can be programmed to turn on lights and control basic appliances and electronics).
Also, SVS has found a programmer who wishes to be known as "DreamTronic", that is coding a Windows-type of graphical interface for the Plus/4. Photos of his icons and basic desktop can also be viewed on SVS's page.

Hello MC, we'll fix the problem in the .d64 image ASAP. In the meanwhile you can DL the manual. Feel free to ask me for any info you wish

The MC-CARDS.USR file was moved from the first position to the second, so that the disk image could be booted with Shift-Run/Stop.
MC-CARDS.USR is the magnetic card datafile, and is not directly run by the user. It is the emulator's saved data or programming.

Arrgh! MC, the file was accidentally SCRATCHed by my .d64 software. It's on the disk if you wish to modify the directory entry with a disk editor, or you can download a new copy. I have reuploaded the exact disk image as received from SVS. However the original disk image does not self-boot with Shift-Run/Stop.
