Hi All,
Yesterday evening I was at Siz (Széll Imre) to give him some of my old missing stuff.
We managed to start the Bards Tale I with my character disk on Plus/4 plus my old 1551 drive. It worked after 30+ years pause. 
Unfortunately when he copied to SD card then tried to run under an emulator it didn't recognized it as a real character disk. 
I left the working disk at him. We all hope to manage to make a running copy.
Another rumor was around the Dragon Wars also that it's just a fake.
So, All five DW disk was readable without any read error after decades. It run on Plus/4+1551 and under emulator also.
Siz or Csabo is going to upload among the Plus/4 Archive where's just a placeholder files right now. I think it will be available soon.
Some note to Dragon Wars:
- It's a completely playable full version, but not finished
- The enemies is converted partly. The initialization pictures are ready but the animation is disabled! It's because my own conversation utility was incorrect and during a fight it make wrong memory writes then hangs the whole game.
Next time I'd like to share the 3D Construction Kit. Yesterday I left at home a whole disk box with about 100 pcs disks. It contains some other interesting stuffs for everyone I hope.

Having your archive as available, will be a big present for the whole scene. So, apparently we're going to definitely change the content in the Dragon Wars entry, uh?

Wow, such a huge game in our hands! It is the Holy grail in the list of the Bard's Tales series.
Bigger, better. It will be a lot of fun for us!

Oh, definietly. Dragon Wars is my favourite 8-bit RPG. I spent countless hours on the Dilmun archipelago
It uses Prodos loader, same as Bard's Tale III so you should expect TCBM2SD version rather sooner than later.

The last days exspecially were amazing for our good old +4.
Does anybody have a hint, why Dragon Wars stuck in the loading screen with Yape?

Works with only 1551 CPU Level Emulation! No 1541 support...thats why incomplete - what Csory said.

I already killed some Cannibals, Giant Spiders and few Soldiers! What a game
(though I started with the default very strong characters to have some fun and meet more enemies )

@SukkoPera : of course I have a ZoomFloppy. The problem is that although the game can be started from Csory's 1551 the disk had some bad tracks and couldn't be copied reliably. Copying from 1551 to SD2IEC was just one of my attempts. Then during one dump attempt my 1571 released the smoke. :/ The working disk is still with me, I'll try some other methods to dump it. Not even the game's built-in character disk creator works. :/

Dunno if that could be of some help, but we have in the atchive two versions of copiers modified by Csory, which are supposed to have been tweaked in order to copy respectively the first two games of the Bard's Tale series, including the bad tracks protections.

Anyway @Csory, basically the non working feature in the game are the animations, but the game can be played and even solved, right?

I got some clarity from Csory on this and added his notes to the game's page. One more thing to note is that the "current party" saved on the disk is very strong (level 150!). Someone should power through the game to the end, using an existing walkthrough to be 100% sure it can be completed.

Hello All,
Thanks for everybody for the feedbacks. :-)
Some additional clarification.
The enemies animations are disabled (lack of completely conversion; my own conversion program bugged and have to fix)
I hope to find the complete users guide with background stories, character properties, spells, hints and paragraphs of course,
Regarding to loaded party: I grinded all of them from scratch during my conversion process (I payed it days maybe weeks).
I recommend everyone to create a new party and learn the fights, maps, enemies. This is really fun!
