| ROM based video pattern generator?
So the Monoscope program from here is great for tuning video. Since it’s written in BASIC and seems to fit in 12k on a Commodore 16, is there a way to hack it into an option ROM so you wouldn’t need to load it from disk or SD card?
Something to replace the 3plus1 on key F1 for instance. Diag264 doesn’t seem to have any static images it could freeze on for video tuning. |

You're arguably referring to TV-Monoszkóp Generátor (note aside: here, you can simply use the double square brackets around the name of a release, to obtain the direct link to its page), and you probably would use it on real machines.
It's a .prg file, so it can be easily loaded from any possible SDcard solution around. It can also be saved on a disk image as .d64, in order to easily have it on a real drive to be loaded. In order to have it as a ROM image, better used as burned on a real EEPROM, you need to add some code, which is well known and of which you can find so many examples, even on this forum, and as source codes of the relative releases (e.g.: OpenC16Cart 128k Games Collection, Commodore Plus/4 32K Toolbox...) |

It's a good idea to add to the Diag264 backlog, but the next version is not likely to be until Autumn this year. 1 |

No guarantees, but try this as Function Low ROM. 1 |
