I just had a look at c0pperdragon's wiki page and it appears this is close to completion.
I can't find any reviews yet but if it's as good as the Atari 8 bit and vic-20 ones I have already got, i'll be purchasing as
soon as it's certain there are no bugs in the implementation.
For those that aren't familiar with this, it's pixel perfect HDMI video using a RGB2HDMI or OSSC as the video decoder.
Of all the 11 different retro machines I have, the plus/4 is the only one I don't currently have an RGB, VGA, or HDMI quality output for, so am definitely looking forward to this.

I wonder if it handles PAL colour inversion effects?
Theoretically it could encode and send that info around the colour burst. |

But we have a fantastic Composite video+ Audio output you may load into a HDMI converter 
( =AV )
Too bad most of the TVs nowadays do not have even a Side AV input.
Do you know, what would be really future proof? Screen Casting to Android TVs. No cables any more!  |
