It *might* be possible that the Wolf involved in this mysterious and IMHO fantastic effort of coding, would be the same who coded Electron: similar usage of the BASIC, same mystery around it... So Golf Royal could be a German game, and the equally mysterious Fish could be the "Schlegel" guy cited as co-author in that previous game of the duo...

Golf Royal is definitely a mystery. I think some old school German sceners might know something about the origins. In Club Info 07, they republish the Pluvi 25 article about the game, and end it with:
Eine Frage: Wer kennt "Fish & Wolf", die das Spiel konvertiert haben? (One question: Who knows "Fish & Wolf", who converted the game?)
The way the ground is drawn makes me think that some portions of the code might have been converted, specifically from Leaderboard Golf. This is quite a different game though, must have been a lot of work to make it work.

Later, I realised that we actually have a record for Wolfsoft, AKA Wolf Winkler. The link is still weak, but: could he be the real author?
