| Breaking news - RCdW Racing and the Commodore plus/4 World go racing
Some said it would never happen but today the Commodore plus/4 World entered the world of motorsport as an official team sponsor to RCdW Racing. As part of the deal the RCdW cars ECU will now be powered by the mighty TED processor. RCdW Racing with Commodore plus/4 World will be in action on Wednesday night over on www.simracing-gp.net sporting their proud new sponsor .
If you love motorsport and sim racing why don't you consider joining. If you can drive then maybe you will get a team offer from RCdW .

Thanks for the fun feedback guys. I'm really excited to see your plus4 sticks Lavina and loving seeing the car on a actual plus4 fuzzweed .
I once had a Skoda Octavia as well, when they said car of the year for all those years they weren't wrong.
The team is doing outstanding in free practice this week. I will be sure to get some race track action shots for you later this evening.

Amazing how the humble Plus/4 (264 series) gains more and more popularity and friends.

I know that The 8-Bit Guy used it for his badges on the PETSCII-Robots-boxes and it is the key colour for tape-based games at TFW8Bit bit, but can someone tell me when and why pink became iconic for the 264-line of computers?

@GeTe Probably because the flamingo is pink. In 1989, the Commodore World newspaper called the 264 series an ugly little duck. Later, it was corrected to a flamingo soaring in the clouds.

The pink goes all the way back to Mastertronic, who used pink for the C16/Plus4 as part of their colour coding scheme, which was then copied by other companies.
