Thanks for pointing at your resource Mr Potter but this project was more me learning the concepts, structure and approach of writing a text adventure so I had and wanted to write it from ground up with all my own code. From a background of coding its important for me to learn the hows and its not about the end product at the moment whilst I learn. The end result is just a side effect of the lesson  .
