32k cart.: Accessing upper cart Q

Hi! I am working on porting my AdvSkelVic65 program to a C16 32k cart. In order to access it, I need to disable the kernal. Do I need to disable interrupts first, or will interrupts still work?

I suppose the IRQ routines have to be copied inside the 32K Cart to work.
Anyway disable IRQ while you switch to the Cart.

Thank you. I have been disabling IRQs, and the library works.
