 The BASIC 10 Liners compo is back on again in 2022. RoePipi (who won the PUR-80 category in 2020) already entered two simple but cute games: Window and Byte Fox. If the inspiration strikes you, YOU can enter as well!

The BASIC 10 Liners compo has passed its deadline for submissions, and there will be an award ceremony online at Saturday, April 9, 2022.
FIVE further games have entered the compo for our beloved machines:
 SpaceDream by FeCO: A TWO-part, hi-res graphics, faithful Elite +4 docking sequence and a pirate-shooter!
 CasetteQuest by FeCO: A master tape-catcher in hi-res graphics, faithful for the historical events from the 1980s.
 ViperTen16 by Kimono (Felix Nardella): A cozy snaker which was also developed for VIC-20, C64 and C128!
 100-Line Maze by RoePipi: An easily-editable PETSCII-based maze with a timer.
 Cheap LCD game simulator by RoePipi: A really cheap one, with a fitting battery.

They are all neat releases. You guys always surprise me with your clever ideas! (ViperTen nonwithstanding  )
SpaceDream is really pretty neat for a PUR-80 10 liner

Congrats to the contributors!
I checked them all, and they are really fantastic.
The Elite docking in 10 BASIC lines PLUS a shooter? Crazy!
Not to mention, drawing a proper house with a car just in 10 lines?
I am really impressed. Really hard to understand some of the scores, but eh... Certainly I did not and could not test all the Spectrum, VIC-20, Atari and C64 ones.
Maybe once, just for the better understanding.

I like the maze game, the maze design was fun. I wonder if it exists with hires graphics instead of petscii.
I like child-easy games since the beginning, when I was typing games from magazines for the VIC.
