@TLC: Ok understood. It's "just" a demoscene guy from a big games label for C64 games. I think he is somehow the main man there, but not sure about that. Seems like they built an own protocol for C64, maybe they are aware of all other solutions for C64 since they are also there since the eightees doing C64 stuff. Maybe they don't know about the other approaches, but I would guess they know all the techniques used till now on their platform. Seems like they already finished the C64 part. They plus/4 part was somehow a sneaky addon they just wanted for fun. Maybe it will never turn into existence after you, Chronos, BSZ, MIK and gerliczer outlined the problems. Not sure, time will tell. At least they read this forum I think!
