BASIC v3.5 editor/IDE on Linux/Windows/WINE <--> YAPE I would like to review some of my childhood programs written in BASIC v3.5 (and sometimes extended with Mega-tool). I want to use a decent 80-character window editor in 2021.
I would like to transfer my PRG to Linux (or Windows via WINE) and edit the program in a proper IDE/editor and run it back in YAPE. I think I can transfer PRGs back and forth very quickly (import/export?).
Are there any tools that I can use to edit a PETSCII PRG file on a PC (and save)? Or is there something more sophisticated that works with the CBM BASIC tokens structure? Last thing, could Mega-tool extended tokens be also used? I doubt.
Re: BASIC v3.5 editor/IDE on Linux/Windows/WINE <--> YAPE @zbyti can you please be more specific as to what software you use and where I can get it? Tx
Re: BASIC v3.5 editor/IDE on Linux/Windows/WINE <--> YAPE CBM Prg Studio + YAPE is good enough. A newbie question: how do I get Commodore fonts integrated with CBM Prg Studio? I mean I want to get the special characters visible 1:1, I don't want to see the pseudo-code characters like {home}{left} etc. Tx
